what's YIAplus?
YIA+! is a programme run by FMSA to help sustain interest in school for Youth-at-risks. What's the best thing? There is something for everybody, even PARENTS!
Students will go through programmes and workshops for their personal development. Think it's only classroom-based? WRONG! There are also camps and outdoor activities for experiential learning. Just to whet your appetite, there'll be a camp in June! How fun is that? Hint hint..It involves the sun, sand and the sea..
Students will also meet new friends! With 100 participants from different schools from all of Singapore, your network of friends will grow considerably..
Having trouble with your studies? Having problems? No sweat! YIA+ has mentors to help students with their studies and also to lend a listening ear when they need one..
Parents you will not be left out! We have programmes in line for you carried out by professional speakers..Your kids will no longer see you as boring or drabby but HIP and FUNKY!
